The Thulma is a traditional textile of the Shauka tribe, living in the Central Himalayan region. It is a woolen blanket, which is hand spun, woven, felted and raised. Usually, it is made of two or more panels stitched together. The Thulma throws and rugs at AVANI are created with the same technique, with the soft fibrous surface and a gentle blend of colours.
